The IEEE Workshop on Applications of Signal Processing to Audio and Acoustics (WASPAA) is a highly-regarded bi-annual event hosted by the Audio and Acoustic Signal Processing Committee of the IEEE Signal Processing Society since 1986. This two-and-a-half day workshop is devoted to reviewing the current state of the art as well as recent advances in signal processing with emphasis on its applications to audio and acoustics. It brings together researchers and practitioners from universities and industry.
Another big change in WASPAA history: WASPAA 2027 will take place in Levi, Finland!
We are very excited to bring WASPAA to Europe for the first time, and we hope that we can provide you with the same intimate atmosphere that is much beloved by our community, and an intimate setting that encourages fruitful conversations between leading researchers in audio and acoustic signal processing from both academia and industry.
Tentative schedule (subject to small changes):

- Final submission deadline: April 21, 2027
- Acceptance notification: July 2, 2027
- Camera ready deadline: July 16, 2027
- Workshop: September 19–22, 2027
